PERAN MAHASISWA KKN DALAM MENINGKATKAN LITERASI KEISLAMAN MASYARAKAT DESA MELALUI PROGRAM PENGABDIAN MASYARAKAT

Abstract

This community service activity was motivated by the low level of Islamic literacy among the residents of Village X, as reflected in their limited understanding of basic religious practices, minimal access to religious learning, and weak participation in religious activities. To address these issues, KKN students implemented a community service program using mentoring, socialization, and practice-based learning methods through regular study sessions, Qur’an reading guidance, and other religious activities. The program was carried out using a participatory approach involving community leaders and village officials. The results of the activity showed an improvement in the community’s knowledge regarding religious practices, increased participation in study sessions, and growing interest among the youth in learning religion. Overall, this community service program successfully contributed to strengthening Islamic literacy within the village community.
