Abstract

The KIP-Kuliah Scholarship Program aims to improve access to higher education for students from low-income families, making proper financial management of scholarship funds essential. This study aims to analyze the influence of financial literacy and lifestyle on the financial management behavior of KIP-Kuliah scholarship recipients at Institut Agama Hindu Negeri Gde Pudja Mataram. This study employed a quantitative approach with an associative research design. The sample consisted of 178 KIP-Kuliah scholarship recipients selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression, including t-test, F-test, and the coefficient of determination (R²). The findings indicate that financial literacy and lifestyle have positive and significant effects, both partially and simultaneously, on students' financial management behavior. Higher financial literacy encourages more responsible and effective use of scholarship funds, while a lifestyle that matches financial capability supports better financial management. The Adjusted R Square value of 0.611 indicates that financial literacy and lifestyle explain 61.1% of the variation in financial management behavior, while the remaining 38.9% is influenced by other factors outside the research model.
