Stunting is a condition of growth failure in children
under five caused by chronic malnutrition, resulting in children
having a height that is not appropriate for their age. This
community service activity aimed to increase public awareness
regarding stunting prevention through the provision of
supplementary feeding programs and Vitamin A in Way Ngison
Village. This study used a descriptive approach with qualitative
and quantitative methods. Data were collected through interviews
and documentation, then analyzed descriptively to draw
conclusions. The results showed that the reduction in stunting
cases in Way Ngison Village reached 50%; however, the outcome
was not yet optimal because the reduction target through
supplementary feeding and Vitamin A programs should have
reached 80%. This condition was influenced by the lack of
awareness and support from parents regarding stunting
prevention efforts. Through this program, students conducted
socialization activities on the importance of early stunting
prevention through supplementary feeding and Vitamin A
administration for toddlers. Due to the limited duration of the
community service program, data regarding changes in stunting
prevalence after Vitamin A administration were not yet available.
